GPT Image 2 is OpenAI's image generation and editing model. Compared with GPT Image 1.5, which Eidora also offers: GPT Image 2 is the newer version and costs 4 credits an image here, against 8 for GPT Image 1.5, so a free account can use it. We have not measured a quality gap between them, and we found no head-to-head comparison from OpenAI, so we do not claim one is better. GPT Image 2 is OpenAI's image model for creating and editing images from text. It is the newer model after GPT Image 1.5 and is known for following detailed prompts and writing readable text in images.

Yes. Your prompt is sent to OpenAI's GPT Image 2 through kie.ai, a model hosting provider. Eidora is not affiliated with OpenAI.

You can start with a free account: 6 credits when you sign up, enough to use this tool once (4 credits per image), with 2 left over. Free results carry an eidora.io watermark. After that, credits start at $1.99: a new account can buy 40 credits for $1.99 once, within 72 hours of signing up; credit packs start at $4.99 for 100 credits and plans at $9.9/month. Once you have paid, your results have no badge.

GPT Image 2 is the newer model. On Eidora it costs 4 credits an image and runs at 1K resolution, while GPT Image 1.5 costs 8 credits and makes 1024×1024 images, or 1536×1024 and 1024×1536 for wide and tall ones. We have not measured which one looks better, and we found no official side-by-side from OpenAI, so try your prompt on both pages.
