Editing a photo is free to try: it uses 4 credits, you can make one without signing up, and a free account gets 16 credits to start and 4 every day. Creating an image from text uses 8 credits and needs a paid plan or a credit pack (Pro is $9.9/month for 300 credits; the $4.99 Starter pack has 100 credits).

Square images are 1536×1536. Wide and tall images are up to 2048×1152 or 1152×2048. Pick 1:1, 16:9, 4:3 or 3:4 in the studio before you generate; the output follows that shape.
